Vinyl flooring has come a long way. Today's vinyl products look very similar to natural stone or hardwood. Visit local stores and talk to flooring specialists to choose one of the latest styles that can fit your space.
Do keep in mind that vinyl plank floor have a very thin top layer. Because it is so thin, it is susceptible to damage. Replacing damaged planks is not easy.
After some time the board can squeak if not nailed properly to the joist. Unfortunately, this is not an easy fix. If however you have your subfloor exposed, this is the time to try to remedy this.
If your existing wood boards are not damaged, we can refinish your flooring with 3 or more coats of poly and it look good as new.
ONLY solid hardwood floors can be refinished. Engineered wood floor planks cannot because the top veneer layer is too thin to be sanded.
We do not recommend that before you read the manufacturer's instructions! Hardwood flooring and moisture do not get along. Each flooring manufacturer will have cleaning instructions posted on their website.
